Our host used my Tiered Food Box with a Leaf Motif in the manner of a fuchidaka (box with a tier for each guest). The confection, a single plump cherry blossom petal, instills the formal tea room with a relaxed feeling of spring.
In the Ryuin-an tea room, Makiko Inoue prepared tea using my Finger-joint Bark Water Jar and Red Lacquer Nakatsugi (caddy for weak tea). She also served confections and arranged flowers in my works.
